The Florida Keys History & Discovery Center reopened to the public as of Wednesday, June 17, 2020 with controlled capacity and safety features in place. However, due to pandemic-related staffing limitations, our hours of operation are modified to Wednesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This change is expected to be in effect indefinitely, please continue to check back for updates. The Keys History & Discovery Center is open Wednesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and is located at 82100 Overseas Highway, MM 82, on the property of the Islander Resort.

Active Duty Military and Veterans: free
Museums for All rate*: $3
*Museums for All supports those receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits visiting Florida Keys History & Discovery Center for a minimal fee of $3 per person, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. Similar free and reduced admission is available to eligible members of the public at more than 500 museums across the country. Museums for All is part of the Discovery Center’s commitment to seek, include, and welcome all audiences.
