Keys History & Discovery Center Continues Virtual Programs
Schedule Modifications Due to Reopening
As the Keys History & Discovery Center resumes normal operations, virtual programs continue with a modified schedule.
Curator Brad Bertelli will go live on Facebook twice a week at 10 a.m. with Museum Virtual Visits on Tuesdays with a specific lesson from the museum’s permanent exhibits and Field Trip Fridays when Bertelli visits a different historic site in the Upper Keys and provides a brief history lesson.
The first Monday of the month at 1 p.m., Museum Virtual Visits features the Coral Reef Exploration exhibit with Mote Marine Laboratory’s Aquarium Biologist Blake Terry.

Cocktails with the Curator is an open question-and-answer hour about all things Keys history on Wednesdays, June 17 and July 15, 5 p.m.
Community Views is a narrated pictorial presentation sharing photos of early days in Upper Keys communities, on Wednesdays, June 24 and July 22, 5 p.m.
Lecture featuring Archaeologist Ryan Harke on Wednesday, July 8, 6 p.m.
